EDI
IHP and the client will establish a HIPAA Compliant 837 EDI connection whereby the client will batch claims under a pre-determined schedule and transmit them to IHP for repricing. IHP and the client will determine a delivery schedule to meet the client’s need and transmit completed repricing via a secure FTP site.
Web Repricing
Clients will have the ability to log onto IHP’s web-based repricing site and manually key in claims for repricing. With the exception of any non-automated fee schedules, claims are repriced instantly with a corresponding transmittal produced with each transaction.
Manual
IHP will accept paper claims by mail, fax, secure email or secure FTP site. IHP’s claims staff will reprice each claim in accordance with the provider contract terms. Repriced claims and corresponding transmittals can be sent back to the client by mail, secure email, fax or via the IHP secure FTP site.
Web Services
The next generation in repricing technology; IHP now offers clients repricing through XML web services. IHP’s proprietary web services technology features: one-to-one claims repricing, real-time claims repricing, expedited implementation time, duplicate claim detection & customized client reporting. IHP’s web services technology meets all requirements under HIPAA for secure electronic transactions. |
